PM Advisor announces compensation for victims of coalmine collapse
PESHAWAR: Prime Minister’s Advisor on Federal Departments in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Sunday announced compensation for those killed and injured in a coalmine collapse in Orakzai Agency last night.The advisor visited Khyber Teaching Hospital to inquire after the health of injured miners and told media two more laborers were still trapped in the coalmine.
He said KP governor has ordered an inquiry into the incident as such incidents had taken place in the same area in the past as well.
Muqam announced Rs300, 000 for each family of the deceased and Rs100,00 each for the injured miners.
