Chandio terms MQM claims as unfortunate

HYDERABAD: Advisor to Sindh Chief Minister for Information, Moula Bakhsh Chandio Sunday termed as unfortunate the allegations of having the loyalties of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) workers changed in Sindh’s prisons.

“Did we play switch the loyalties of Afaq Ahmed and Mustafa Kamal,” asked Chandio while addressing speaking to media men in reaction to Dr Farooq Sattar’s press conference.

He said MQM is hurling the accusations of torturing the jail workers only to cover up its defeats. “Did Farooq Sattar refer to cleanliness or he meant to kill the people,” he wondered.

The Information Advisor also expressed his surprise as to why the rulers of Punjab are apprehensive about National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) powers. “Why only Sindh is being subjected to accountability,” he questioned.

He said the entire country is saying with one voice that the Federal government has failed.
