Sharifs bought loyalties with public money, claims Imran
LAHORE: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Sunday lashed out at the Sharif brothers for what he claimed was “buying the loyalties of politicians” from public money. Addressing a rally in the Jalalpur Pirwala town near Multan, Imran Khan accused Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif of buying the loyalties of PTI candidate at the eleventh hour. He said people who are up for sale cannot serve the masses.
Imran Khan has said there are serious allegations against the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain.
He said those who had a different opinion were first kicked out of the MQM and then sent packing from this world as well. He stated that the party leaders used to order hits while sitting in London and now the Interior Ministry is asking for evidence.
Criticising the government, Imran stated that in Britain the prime minister answers accusations on his own, and not through his children. He stated that the Sharif brothers should come and have a good debate.
He announced party elections at a union council level as well after the intra-party polls. He also announced introducing a new accountability bill in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The PTI chairman, being a legendary cricketer in the past, also commented on the national cricket team. He stated that the Pakistani team’s batting statistics were unsatisfactory. He stated that if the batsmen of the team were to fulfil their responsibility, then there was chance that the nation might hear good news in the World T20.
The former captain also blasted the government of Himachal Pradesh while acknowledging the steps taken by Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar for the national cricket team.
