DG FIA meets dissident MQM leaders
KARACHI: Director General Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Sindh Shahid Hayat on Sunday visited Kamal House in DHA and met the dissident leaders of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Anees Qaimkhani and Mustafa Kamal. Ex-MQM leader and former health minister Dr. Sagheer welcomed Hayat.
The FIA director sought help from Mustafa Kamal about his allegations against the MQM chief’s links to the Indian spy agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) and the money laundering case.
Kamal confirmed to the media that Hayat wanted their help to investigate allegations against the MQM and its chief pertaining to RAW and the money laundering case. “We have heard his proposal and now will take a decision at an appropriate time,” he added.
