Defections won’t make any difference to MQM: Farooq Sattar
KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader, Farooq Sattar Monday likened his party to a river, saying loss of two - three drops will not make any difference to it.Talking to media persons following the announcement of Raza Haroon to join Mustafa Kamal, he said MQM will not feel a thing with a defection of any member.
Earlier, Farooq Sattar inspected his party’s ongoing cleanliness campaign in Ranchor Line.
To a question regarding Raza Haroon’s quitting MQM, he said one should always avoid speculations. “The Almighty may show a right path to all,” he added.
Farooq Sattar said MQM cleanliness drive is going at full swing in districts east, west and central.
He said all stakeholders have pledged cooperation for the cleanliness campaign. However, he said more vehicles are needed for carrying out the work more efficiently.
