Pakistan condemns Ankara terrorist attack
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Monday strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Turkish capital Ankara. In a statement, Foreign Office offered heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the bereaved families and the government of Turkey. Reports indicate that a large number of innocent lives have been lost in the attack while scores are injured. “We are deeply saddened to learn about the bomb blast in Kizilay area of Ankara. We also pray for the speediest and fullest recovery of those wounded,” the statement said, adding “Pakistan condemns this heinous act of terrorism in the strongest terms and, like always, stands in strong solidarity with Turkey”. Foreign Office said Pakistan reiterates its condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. “We also reiterate our belief that the fraternal people of Turkey would decisively defeat the scourge of terrorism with their characteristic strong will and determination,” statement said.
