Sindh IG seeks Rangers to stay
Allah Dino says corruption in police department is lack of accountability
KARACHI – Sindh Inspector General of Police Allah Dino Khawaja recommended Rangers to stay until police force was fully geared up to tackle the circumstances on its own.
Talking to local TV channel in an interview, Sindh police chief also voiced his resolve to curb corruption in the province. “Corruption in police department chiefly stems from the lack of accountability. However, we will control it.”
He was of the view that police should take advantage of the presence of paramilitary force in the province.
