Ansar Burney demands release of 4-year old Pakistani boy from Indian jail
KARACHI: Internationally known Human Rights Activist, Ansar Burney Sunday demanded of the Indian government to release a four-year-old Pakistani child detained in an Indian prison.
According to a statement issued at Ansar Burney International Trust, Burney has sent letters to Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, Indian Foreign Minister, Sushma Swaraj, Home Minister, Rajnath Singh and Indian High Commission at Islamabad.
In the letter, he urged the Indian government to release a four-year-old Pakistani boy Iftikhar Ahmad, a resident of Muzaaffarabad, Azad Kashmir.
The boy holding a Pakistani Passport number MY1168781 with a date of birth December 28, 2011 continues to languish in Ganderbal prison Srinagar India, the letter stated.
