Pakistani security forces shift Afghan soldier to hospital
BAJAUR AGENCY: Pakistani security forces on Saturday took a soldier of the Afghan National Army to Bajaur Agency for treatment as soldier is suffering from illness, officials of the security forces said. They said that the security officials at Pak-Afghan border area Nawa Pass shifted a solider of the Afghan National Army into Pakistani territory in Charmang locality. The sick Afghan soldier was shifted to an area in Bajaur on humanitarian spirit after Afghan officials requested for medical treatment from Pakistani officials at the Pak-Afghan border area in Nawa Pass. According to the officials, the sick Afghan solider is under treatment in Charmang area under the supervision of security forces doctors. The sick Afghan solider would recover soon and he would be discharged after a few days, the official added. The Afghan solider is feeling comfortable and he thanked the Pakistani security forces for shifting him into its camp, giving him medical assistant. It is the fourth time for the last one year that an Afghan solider is shifted into Pakistani territory in Bajaur Agency for medical treatment.
