Pakistan China Business Forum concludes amid gaining huge success
COMSATS University Rector Prof Dr Junaid says business forum is best platform to pave way for investment in Pakistan

LAHORE – Pakistan-China Business Forum, organised with the collaboration of COMSATS University and Ministry of science and technology, concludes on its fourth day on Tuesday.

The Pakistani and Chinese businessmen signed Memorandum of Association (MoUs) worth more than $50 million during the business forum. A large number of businessmen from the both countries and students of different universities participated in the business forum.

More than 400 Chinese companies presented their products for the exhibition in the business forum. Products like electronics, textile, auto mobile, furniture and medicine attracted a large number of national and international customers. Thousands of people purchased various products from different stalls arranged in the business forum. Moreover, Pakistani companies, small and medium entrepreneurs, universities and research and welfare organisations also participated in the business forum.

Seminars conducted during the four-day business forum, in which experts presented their experience and professional opinion on various topics. China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and its future benefits were also discussed during the seminars. The Pakistani and Chinese businessmen discussed in detail to further promote the trade between two countries.

While addressing the seminar on Pakistan-China relation and role of media, prominent journalists including Salman Ghani, Salman Abid, Rizwan Razi and Aslam Dogar highlighted the role of media in further boosting Pakistan-China friendship.

COMSATS University Rector Professor Dr Junaid Zaidi said Pakistan-China Business Forum is a best platform to pave the way for investment in Pakistan. He said that investment coming through the business forum would have a positive impact on the country’s economy and it will also attract our students towards the business sector.

It is pertinent to mention here that COMSATS University is consistently organising business forum from the last five years. The participants also laud the organisers for conducting the business forum successfully.
