ISLAMABAD: PML-N leader and MNA Hamza Shahbaz Sharif has said that Pakistan People’s Party had entered into a deal with Pervez Musharraf.
“They gave him red carpet exit and presented him guard of honour when he left the Presidency,” Hamza said speaking to Daily Times. He said that the political opponents of PML-N are blocking the way of progress in the country. The ruling party only complied with the orders of the court and now the PPP and other political parties are making hue and cry over the departure of Musharraf. “We want to safeguard the constitution while our opponents are only giving emotional statements. The nation knows their role and character as well as ours,” he added. He said the PML-N would take all the political powers on board regarding mega projects and no compromise would be made on the development of the country. He said that he only prays for Imran Khan “that God guide him and he chose the right track for him”. He said the mega developmental projects of billions of rupees like China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, orange train and metro bus service would change the fate of the nation. These projects are going on in a transparent manner.
Through CPEC, Hamza said, poverty in Gilgit-Baltistan, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would be ended and people will become prosperous.
