OPF gives Rs 728m to families of deceased expats
By Zafar MalikISLAMABAD: The Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) distributed Rs728.60 million to 800 affected families in recent years.
According to the details, the OPF sanctioned Rs200 million this fiscal year for the families of deceased or disabled overseas Pakistanis. If any Pakistani dies or becomes disabled abroad, the OPF gives Rs250,000 to his family in Pakistan.
According to the OPF, it collects information about the families of the deceased Pakistanis and then gives them money on completion of formalities.
