Pakistani flags hoisted in Srinagar

ISLAMABAD: Pakistani flags were hoisted at many places in Srinagar and other areas of Indian Held Kashmir (IHK) as part of Pakistan Day celebrations on Wednesday. The flags were hoisted in Lal Chowk and other localities of Srinagar city by the activists of the Kashmiri women’s organisation, Dukhtaran-e-Millat, that is headed by Syeda Asiya Andrabi, the Kashmir Media Service reported. Special prayers for security, stability and prosperity of Pakistan were offered on the occasion. Almost all Hurriyat leaders in their statements felicitated Pakistan on the Pakistan Day. Hoisting Pakistani flags on national days and during anti-India demonstrations has become a common occurrence in the occupied territory in recent days.
