Pakistan writes letter to Iran, seeks arrest of Yadav’s accomplice
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has written a letter to Iran and sought Tehran’s assistance to help investigate the activities of Indian spy Kulbhushan Yadav, detained by Pakistani authorities from Balochistan.
According to the letter written by Pakistan’s interior ministry, Islamabad requested the Iranian government to help them investigate other RAW network operating in the region.
Pakistan also demanded Tehran arrest and handing over of Yadav's accomplice Rakesh alias Rizwan.
Indian spy Kulbhushan Yadev was detained by the Pakistani security agencies from Balochistan. He has confessed to the Indian secret agency RAW’s involvement in destabilising Pakistan in a video aired during a joint press conference by the civil and military leadership of the country on Tuesday.
Kulbhushan Yadev was tasked to destabilise Pakistan, create unrest, sponsor terrorism, separatism in Balochistan and target the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
He also confessed to sponsoring many terrorist and subversive activities, links with Baloch separatists and future plans after entering Balochistan from the Iranian port city of Chahbahar.
