Pakistan navy ready to defend maritime borders: Naval Chief

ISLAMABAD: The keel-laying ceremony of Fast Attack Missile Craft for Pakistan Navy was held at the Karachi Shipyard on Thursday.
Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Mohammad Zakaullah was the chief guest on the occasion.
Addressing the ceremony, the Naval Chief said that Pakistan Navy is on the way to self-reliance with another missile craft being manufactured indigenously.
He lauded the work of engineers at Karachi Shipyard and Engineering Works and congratulated all the stakeholders for achieving this great milestone.
Pakistan Navy is always ready to defend its maritime borders and take on any challenge or danger, he added.
The Naval Chief said China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will make Pakistan the economic hub of the region while responsibilities and limits for Pakistan Navy will also expanded with the activation of this route.
