‘Save Energy’ steps grossly violated in Kotri
KOTRI: The entire Kotri city was lit with bulbs and decorative lights in brazen defiance of government orders relating ‘save energy’, Geo News reported Saturday.Kotri was embellished with electric lights to observe the 25 years of political and social service by the former District Nazim Jamshoro in contrast with the government notifications for electricity saving.
On one hand, the sentences are being awarded for the electricity thefts; while, on the other hand, the orders from the federal and provincial governments are being dumped at the dustbin under official cover.
Sindh’s city Kotri was bedecked like a bride on the completion of 25 years of services of Former District Nazim Malik Asad Sikandar with decorated gates ablaze with lights and the roads were lighted with electric bulbs.
Hyderabad’s electric authority could not be contacted despite several attempts by Geo News.
