Shahbaz wants Kala Bagh Dam with mutual consent
LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif said construction of Kala Bagh Dam without consent of all four provinces is not in national interest.Talking to media after visiting rape victims in children’s ward in Meo Hospital, Shahbaz said Kala Bagh Dam is necessary for country’s economy but it should be constructed with mutual consent of all four provinces. He said although load shedding has been decreased but the decisions made in Islamabad for energy saving have not been implemented completely.
Chief Minister Punjab expressed regret and anger over unfortunate incident of rape of minor girls in Daska and vowed that culprits will be bring to justice soon. He also announced compensation of Rs.500, 000 each for the victims.
