SC retains BHC ruling on lower judiciary appointments
ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court on Wednesday in its ruling declared that judges appointments in subordinate courts should be carry out through relevant high court.
A three-member bench of SC headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry heard a petition filed against Balochistan High Court’s decision regarding appointments in lower judiciary. The court has dismissed the petition and upholds the decision of Balochistan High Court.
