SC orders pension for former CJ Sajjad
ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court (SC) ordered for the payment of pension to Justice (rtd) Sajjad Ali Shah as former Chief Justice, Geo News reported Thursday.A five-member SC bench headed by Justice Nasirul Mulk heard the case of Justice (rtd) Sajjad Ali Shah.
The court ordered the AGPR to formally issue a notification regarding the payment of pension and all other arrears to Justice (rtd) Sajjad Ali Shah.
The court rejected the new definition relating the judges presented by the Law Ministry regarding 18th Amendment, saying, ‘The case of the former CJ Shah is of 2002.
