Pakistan will trace background of Faisal Shehzad: HaqqaniWASHINGTON: Pakistan will trace the background of Pakistani-American Faisal Shehzad, accused of executing a failed bomb attack at Times Square in New York City, Pakistani Ambassador to the US Hussain Haqqani said on Wednesday. The ambassador made these remarks while giving an interview to the CNN. Haqqani said that by tracing Shehzad’s background, Pakistan would boost its ongoing anti-terrorism efforts. “We will retrace all his steps. There is a major effort underway right now as we speak and there are teams working in Pakistan, which are trying to put together all kinds of evidence,” he told CNN. app
