Badar calls for inclusion of BB letter in murder probe
LAHORE: General Secretary of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Jehangir Badar, demanded that the letter written by former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto before his return to the country should also be included in the probe.This he said while interacting with media persons outside an accountability court here on Friday.
Badar said that the President, the Prime Minister or any other party’s office bearer had no ambiguity on the UN report on BB’s assassination. The assassination of Bhutto was a conspiracy against the federation of Pakistan, he said, adding that the killers would not be spared.
Meanwhile, the accountability court put off till May 25 the hearing in an illegal asset case against Badar.
On this occasion, PPP activists staged a demonstration in front of the accountability court and Governor House and called for early arrest of assassins.
