Pakistan-India FMs’ talks after parliament session ends: Krishna

 

ISLAMABAD: Indian Minister for External Affairs S M Krishna announced that he would speak to his counterpart Shah Mehmood Qureshi soon after the end of the session of the Indian Parliament. According to Indian daily The Hindu, these interactions were agreed upon by Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani in Thimphu last week to address the trust deficit between the two countries. Replying to clarifications in the Rajya Sabha, the Upper House of Indian Parliament, Krishna said, “An ideal situation has come about in transforming our relations. The mood, ambience and tone of the Pakistani prime minister were indeed encouraging and the Indian prime minister put across our core concern about terrorism.” app
