Jamaat-e-Islami’s caravan against price hike, corruption
KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Syed Munawar Hasan today called upon the Supreme Court to take a suo motto notice against Law Minister Babar Awan and Interior Minister Rehman Malik and file a ‘contempt of court’ against them.
In addition, the JI leader called for exposing the elements responsible for deadly incidents of May 12, April 9 and 12th of Rabi ul Awal.
These demands were made at a caravan taken out from Sohrab Goth to Tibet Center against price hike, inflation, unemployment, loadshedding and US meddling.

Hasan said that removal of people’s suffering was not possible without dispensation of justice and resolution of challenges.
He said soaring prices of daily essentials, loadshedding and American interference have played havoc with the people of Pakistan.
