CJ says made no compromise on NRO
ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry said one who is suspended by the court on a count gets elevated at a better position.
A three-member bench of Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar heard the case against a foreign restaurant located in F-9 Park.
The chief justice in his remarks said that application invited from only foreign chains is a violation of constitution’s Article 18.
He said nobody is above the law and those who always made compromises on constitution are nowhere now.
The CDA lawyer admitted that establishment of restaurant is a violation of Article 18 of constitution.
He said judiciary is our hope.
In reply, Justice Khalilur Rehman Ramday questioned that is there anyone expecting that we will make a compromise on the violation of Constitution.
