Prolonged power cuts continues across the country


KARACHI: At least 15 hours load shedding is still going on in several parts of the country whereas repair work of damaged tower still in progress in Chetter area of Balcohistan despite passing 23 days.

220 KV transmission line towers were damaged on April 20 in Chetter area in district Naseerabad followed by 20 hours load shedding in Chaman, Pesheen, Qila Saifullah and other areas of northern Balochistan.

Angry protestors had blocked the Quetta-Chaman Highway, which was later reopened. On the other hand, 10 to 15 hours of load shedding is underway in all small and big cities and towns of the country making life miserable for small business enterprises and domestic consumers.
