PIA, PSM, Railways burden on national exchequer: Waqar
ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Privatization Waqar Ahmed Khan Thursday told the National Assembly that PIA, Pakistan Steel Mills (PSM) and Railways are a burden on the national exchequer.During question hour, the Privatization Minister said restructuring of the above organizations will be undertaken to enhance their efficiency.
He said the Council of Common Interest (CCI) has proposed privatization of 55 state-run organizations.
Waqar Ahmed Khan informed that negotiations are underway for recovery of 800 million dollars from Etisalat.
Representative of Interior Minister told the Lower House that the Ministry has not granted arms license to any foreigner.
