‘FC deployment in Punjab against provincial autonomy’
ISLAMABAD: Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan Monday termed the act of dispatching of FC personnel to Punjab during the local bodies elections last week against provincial autonomy, saying it will not be tolerated in future.
Interacting with media men here, Chaudhry Nisar described the move as a conspiracy to trigger a clash between Punjab and Khyber-Pukhtoonkhwa.
He said the Punjab government has taken note of dispatching of FC and Rangers personnel to the province and warned of strict action if such move is repeated in future.
The opposition leader advised ‘Chaudhry brothers of Gujrat’ to provide Hamesh Khan with legal help instead of acting as his counsel.
“Leveling allegations in connection with Hamesh Khan against Sharif family is no different from the buffalo theft case built against Chaudhry Zahoor Elahi,” he said.
