Rulers urged to visit Kaaba in place of White House
LAHORE: The Pakistan Muslim League-Q on Monday advised the rulers to pay a visit to Kaaba instead of performing circumambulation around the White House.These views were expressed by PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and General Secretary Mushahid Hussain Syed while speaking to media persons after condoling Justice Khalil ur Rehman Ramday at the demise of his nephew.
Syed urged the government to learn a lesson from the history and refrain from starting a confrontation with judiciary and other state organs.
“Those who are appearing before the courts have no right to be called as ministers,” he said.
To a question, Syed said Hamesh Khan’s recorded statement has clarified many issues.
He called upon Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry to take a suo motto notice of this issue.
