Pakistan protests to US over blasphemous contest
WASHINGTON: Pakistan has formally conveyed its protest to the US over the blasphemous caricatures.Pakistani Ambassador in the US Hussain Haqqani contacted the US special envoy Richard Holbrooke and formally communicated to him Pakistan’s protest over the sacrilegious contest on Facebook.
Holbrooke acknowledged the sentiments of the Pakistani people and Muslims on the issue.
