At the onset of Saturday’s proceedings in Accountability Court-IV, Malik’s, lawyer Amjad Iqbal Qureshi informed Judge Chaudhry Abdul Haq that his client wished to withdraw his applications in two separate references.
One of the references maintained that Malik received hefty kickbacks while handling the procurement of vehicles for the Federal Investigation Agency in his capacity.
The other reference against the interior minister said that he broke into the house a person in Lahore and made away with gold, cash and other valuables.
The lawyer said the applications did not require being submitted, so Malik wished to take back his bail applications.
