You talk of judges’ biasness, then why don’t you submit record: CJ


ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court Chief Justice, Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudry, expressing his dissatisfaction over the non-submission of the FIR record registered in the Achhra Police Station against Zulfiquar Ali Bhutto, told Babar Awan, the federation counsel in reopening of Bhutto murder case, “You talk of judges’ biasness, then why don’t you submit the record----when Chaudhry Zahur Ellahi was murdered, then was Maulvi Mushtaque also wounded in this attack---but Babar Awan failed to answer this question.

Chief Justice also enquired from Babar Awan, “Do you know that the pen with which Bhutto’s punishment was inked was valued most.”

Supreme Court’s 11-member larger bench headed by the Chief Justice, Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry was hearing the presidential reference filed for revisiting the Bhutto murder case here today.

Punjab Advocate General and Lahore DIG Investigation told the court that the FIR record was being traced on which CJ remarked that when the evidence was not available, then how is it the case got revived?
