All institution should be on same page on Osama raid: Rabbani
ISLAMABAD: Senator Raza Rabbani has said that all the state institutions of the state should be on the same page on Abbottabad operation, Geo News on Wednesday.During hot debate in the Senate on Abbottabad operation, Raza Rabbani said there was difference between foreign office and interior minister pertaining to providing access to the US to widows of Osama. He said ‘foreign office is saying that the US has not requested for access to widows of Osama bin Laden, while interior minister has issued statement that Pakistan is ready to give access’.
He was of view that all institutions should be on the same page on the issue.
Senator Salim Yousufullah while participating in the debate was shocked over ignorance of Pakistan and US intelligence on hiding of Osama in Abbottabad for five years.
Senator Lashkar Raisani called for handing over the widows of Osama to their respective countries with honor, adding that handing over the widows to the US would be historical mistake.
