Don’t give anyone chance to raise finger: PM
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister, Yusuf Raza Gilani has said that let us not give a chance to anyone raising finger on us, all the members would be provided an opportunity to talk in the joint session of the parliament.
The prime minister opening the debate on Abbotabad incident in the senate said that Pakistan today was confronted with challenges unprecedented and urged for making a united strategy boldly facing it.
He said who would account for the martyrdom of thirty thousand Pakistani citizens and five thousand of officials? He said if the institutions were weakened, then the country would also get weak.
“It is the time for unity, we should not give any chance to anyone let see our weakness”, he pleaded.
Addressing the opposition benches, the prime minister invited them to come up with their proposals on the national security. He said, “We are all united on the national issues, as there could be no politics without the country.
He said, “The British prime minister has acknowledged that none like Pakistan played the role in the war on terror and added that every country including European Union, Saudi Arabia and Iran are supporting us---we are not alone.”
The prime minister said that Osama bin Laden was not our citizen and added that he was not acceptable to the country where he belonged to.
