Three MQM lawmakers join federal cabinet
ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari administered oath to three parliamentarians of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) as ministers at a ceremony held at the Presidency on Tuesday.MQM Deputy Convener Dr Farooq Sattar and Senator Babar Ghouri took oath as ministers while Dr Nadeem Ehsan took oath as state minister. The portfolios of the ministers will be decided later.
The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani, Senate Chairman Farooq H Naek, National Assembly Acting Speaker Faisal Karim Kundi, Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister Mehdi Shah, federal ministers and others. app
