Gilani chairs Cabinet’s Defence Committee meeting
ISLAMABAD: The meeting of Defence Committee of the Cabinet is underway under the chair of Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani at the PM House, Geo News reported.The meeting is being held in the context of US raid in Abbottabad in which al-Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden was killed. The meeting would discuss the prevailing situation besides chalking out an effective policy.
Ministers for Defence, Finance, Interior and Information besides Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and COAS, Chief of Air Staff and Chief of Naval Staff are participating in the crucial meeting.
