PPP Sindh to protest against LHC verdict
KARACHI: PPP Sindh Executive Committee decided to take out rallies would be led by the regional presidents of PPP district head quarters from all over Sindh against the Lahore High Court verdict in Asif Ali Zardari’s dual office case.
During a meeting, chaired by the Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah at the Chief Minister house, it was decided that after the Juma prayers, all PPP district head quarters in Sindh, would take out rallies to protest against the decision of the Lahore High Court.
It was also decided in the meeting that the protest movement would go step by step and a strong reaction would be expressed. The assembly members would participate in the assembly meeting wearing a black ribbon to record their protest.
On Thursday, LHC restrained President Asif Ali Zardari from holding political activities.
