Nawaz drinks deep nationalism at a meet with Palijo
HYDERABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-N Quaid Mian Nawaz Sharif today in a meeting with the chief of Awami Tahrik, Rasool Bukhsh Palijo at his residence here, said that nationalism was a good thing and added his party shares the same agenda with the Awami Tahrik.
He said that we also desire to find out who breached the embankments during the floods for saving their land.
Nawaz on a one-day visit to this second largest city of the province drove straight to the residence of his buddy, the AT chief, Rassool Bukhsh Palijo for a meeting. AT President Ayaz Lateef Palijo and other party leaders were also present in the meeting, where mutual matters of importance were discussed.
Later, talking to the media Mian Nawaz Sharif said, “AT agenda is the same as that of ours—nationalism is a good thing. They also talk of riddance, justice and rights and we also say so. He said it is our desire that an enquiry be made into the breaching of the embankments for saving their lands during the floods and it should be dug out who the culprits are.” He said that the resolution on the drone attacks be implemented.
AT Prsident Ayaz Palijo said that he was thankful to Nawaz Sharif for giving importance to issues like breaching of the embankments, target killings in Karachi etc.
