'Osama hideout was not under vigilance'
WASHINGTON: The hideout of Osama Bin Laden in Abbottabad had not been put under strict vigilance so that the al-Qaeda chief might not feel any suspicion, Geo News quoted US TV.
According to the US officials, the number of people visiting the compound before the raid was very few and they came rarely.
The officials also said that the data recovered from the site will help in acquiring information about the people visiting Osama and determining his activities during his stay at the compound.
Meanwhile, CIA Director Leon Panetta told US Senator John McCain that CIA got the information about Osama's presence in Abbottabad through intelligence. (AFP)
