IESCO cuts supply of Shaheed-e-Millat Secretariat
ISLAMABAD: IESCO has started disconnecting power supplies due to non payment of bills, Geo News reported Wednesday.IESCO severed the power supply connection of Pak PWD but later restored it on assurance of making the payment against the dues by tomorrow.
Power disconnection notice was also issued to Prime Minister’s Secretariat on Tuesday.
An IESCO officials told Geo News that dues amounting to Rs1.65 billion were outstanding against a number of department of the Federal Government including Capital Development Authority (CDA).
