5 killed as a vehicle hit mines in Orakzai
PESHAWAR: Five persons were killed as a passenger vehicle hit the mines in Upper Orakzai, while four militants were killed in security operations.Sources said that a vehicle hit the mines in Ghonza area of Upper Orakzai resulting in the death of five persons, as the vehicle was totally damaged. Also in the Orakzai areas Khadizai and Mamozai, security forces launching operation shelled the suspected hideouts killing four militants and destroyed two hideouts.
Rocket from unknown place was fired on the Ghalanai, the Headquarter of Mohmand Agency, however no loss of life was reported.
On the other hand, reports relating to a clash between the local peace jirga and the militants at Jammu in FR Jawakai area were received. Sources said that heavy weapons were used from both sides.
