KESC CEO appreciates working employees

KARACHI: Chief Executive Officer of the Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) Tabish Gauhar has appreciated all those company employees who have been risking their lives by performing their duties to serve the consumers in difficult conditions.
“We are proud of them as actually these people are the assets of this institution. This is our responsibility to care more about them,” he said in a message issued here on Thursday. Gauhar said all those core employees, who have been misguided temporarily, should return to their work immediately and receive the appreciation of company consumers.
He also invited the certified and law abiding labour leaders to play their due role for bringing things back to normal and sit down with the Human Resource Committee for finding out a solution to the issues that is based on ground realities.
He said, “There will be no compromise on principles. The issues will only be resolved either through negotiations or courts, but not on streets or by creating hardships to general public.”
