India announces to bolster military power
NEW DELHI: India has announced to strengthen its military capabilities upon the pretext of growing Sino-Pak ties, Geo News reported.
Defence Minister A.K. Antony says India will have to bolster its military to meet the challenge.
He made the comment following reports that China plans to accelerate supply of 50 new JF-17 Thunder multi-role combat jets to Pakistan under a co-production pact.
Antony added that safe havens for militants in neighbors are another main concern for New Delhi.
He says his government has told Pakistan's leaders to disband and destroy all guerrilla gangs if it sincerely wants to improve relations with India.
