Ishaque Dar declines to attend NEC meeting
ISLAMABAD: Muslim League-Nawaz (ML-N)’s Senator Ishaqure Dar has declined to attend the National Economic Council (NEC) meeting being held today due to his party reservations on the government policies.Senate secretariat sources told Geo News that the prime minister had nominated Ishaque member of NEC, who in a memo sent to the prime minister secretariat, said that the government didn’t get serious on the implementation of the policy making and planning for which he could not attend the NEC meeting.
Sources said that Ishaque Dar’s regret letter has already been received at the prime minister secretariat.
