President, PM enquire after JUI-F chief

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday inquired after ailing Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Fazlur Rehman and prayed for his early recovery.

The president also sent a delegation of Pakistan People’s Party to DI Khan to inquire about the health of Fazl. The delegation comprising Kashmir Affairs Minister Manzoor Ahmed Wattoo, Information Technology Minister Raja Parvez Ashraf, Senator Sardar Ali, Political Secretary of President Rukhsana Bangash and Dr Abdul Qayyum Soomro left for DI Khan to inquire after Fazlur Rehman.

President Zardari told the delegation to convey his best wishes and sentiments to the JUI chief. Also, Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani telephoned Fazlur Rehman to inquire about his health and prayed for his early recovery. he prime minister thanked the JUI-F chief for the solidarity expressed by his party’s Balochistan Minister Abdul Wasai when the provincial cabinet led by Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Raisani called on the PM on Tuesday. app
