Nisar terms province resolution 'a political gimmick'
ISLAMABAD: Opposition Leader in National Assembly, Chaudhry Nisar Thursday termed the passage of resolution on Siraiki province as government's political gimmick, Geo News reported.
"I would present a resolution in National Assembly on creation of four new administrative units in the country," Nisar said while talking to media men outside the Parliament House here.
He said party would table a resolution tomorrow for creation of Southern Punjab, Bahawalpur, Hazara and Fata as four new administrative units.
"Muslim League-N favours creation of new provinces and we want Bahawalpur and Hazara also to be converted into provinces," he said.
Chaudhry Nisar said a two-third majority was required in the National Assembly and Senate for creation of a new province.
