SHC directs Sindh government to hold local body election in 90 days
KARACHI: The Sindh High Court has directed Sindh government to hold local body elections in 90 days, Geo News reported Friday.A two-member bench comprising Justice Faisal Arab and Justice Nadeem Ahmed announced the verdict on the petition filed by former mayor of Sukkur Nasir Hussain Shah two years ago.
According to the judgement, the government was ordered to hold local body polls under the Constitution.
