DPC announces 'Long March' on May 27

LAHORE: Defence of Pakistan Council (DPC) has announced to take out 'Long March' from Karachi to Islamabad on May 27 against restoration of Nato supply routes, Geo News reported.

The meeting of DPC was held under the chair of Maulana Samiul Haq in Mansoora, Lahore. Syed Munawar Hassan, Hafiz Saeed, Maulana Ahmed Ludhyanvi, Sardar Ateeq Ahmed Khan, Gen (retd) Hameed Gul, Shaikh Rashed Ahmed, Ejaz-ul-Haq and other leaders attended the meeting.

Talking to media after the meeting, Maulana Samiul Haq said DPC has decided to take out peaceful 'Long March' from Karachi to Islamabad on May 27 against the restoration of Nato supply routes.

He further announced that protest demonstrations would be held on Friday May 25 against the Nato supply routes.
