Sharifs will have to pay back public money at all costs: Malik
ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Sunday welcomed a decision of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to appear and record his statement in the Supreme Court attack case and vowed to expose their corruption at all costs. Talking to the media after attending a meeting to review security arrangements for the visiting Turkish PM, Malik said that the police would record Sharif brothers’ testimony in the way they wanted it to be. He also reiterated his stance that both Sharif brothers were involved in $32 million money laundering cases for which he would provide evidences soon. The scandals like laptop distribution, fake drugs and Sasti Roti schemes would be exposed, he claimed. Malik said that Interpol had been working on the $32 million embezzlement case and its facts would be brought before the public. The public money would be retrieved from the Sharif brothers at all costs, he added. inp
