Pak-India Interior Secretary-level talks focus on visa policy

ISLAMABAD: Two day Pakistan-India Interior Secretary-level talks have started here today, Geo News reported.

The broad agenda of the two-day talks is to focus on visa relaxation, multiple visas for traders, on arrival visa for elderly and children at Wagah border, cooperation in anti-terrorism, progress on Mumbai attacks and CBMs on Line of Control.

The talks are led by Interior Secretary Khawaja Siddiq Akbar while the Indian side is represented by Home Secretary R K Singh.

In this regard, Federal Interior Minister Senator A. Rehman Malik chaired a pre-meeting session of interior Secretary talks on Wednesday.

The minister reviewed the progress from the last Interior Secretary talks between Pakistan and India and gave instructions to move forward.
