PPP workers never change loyalty: PM Gilani
NAROWAL: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) always come to power with the public support, adding that the workers of PPP never change their loyalty.Addressing a public gathering here on Saturday, the prime minister said that President Asif Ali Zardari spent 11 years in prison while he himself was jailed for five years but they never stepped back from the philosophy of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.
Gilani said ‘I was asked not to visit Narowal as the people living there didn’t vote for PPP but I still decided otherwise and undertook the city's visit.’
He said that PML-N should have gone for a long march earlier, as it was too late for such a move now.
"One brother doesn't recognize the prime minister while the other the president and now Chaudhry Nisar has announced that he did not accept the speaker," he said.
